Strengthened security and audio visual facilities

At an apartment block along the Albert Embankment in Central London’s Lambeth district, we implemented the essentials of a state-of-the-art automation system for improving and controlling CCTV throughout the entire building.

At the heart of this infrastructure was a 64 Channel 4K Uniview CCTV system, linking audiovisual facilities around the premises.

Essentially, we completely upgraded a 22-camera system, adding 26 more cameras covering the entire building to ensure full, secure coverage of the property.

The challenge

An aging CCTV system waiting to be modernised

Like many property owners, residents here were faced with a security system that technically “worked” but, in many respects, was insecure and cumbersome to use in practice.

For example, a security risk assessment conducted by our professionals unveiled holes in the existing security setup – there were many blind spots unable to be covered by the limited number of pre-existing cameras.

We are about stripping away difficult, out-dated systems from residential security equations. This is why we chose a smart, 64 Channel 4K Uniview CCTV System to integrate both system and security with audiovisual facilities around the premises.

The Solution

Through upgrading the previous 22-camera CCTV system, we enabled security at this property to enjoy full 4K coverage images throughout the apartment block - facing street view and the embankment – without any blind spots.

We strengthened the property’s security through the fitting of a 64 Channel 4K Uniview CCTV System. This was configured with a smart notification system and channelled through 6 AV HDMI Sources, allowing the entire property to be monitored from a multi-screen security room or even from afar via our installed remote view access.

At every stage of this project, we closely heeded the client’s precise requirements. For example, we erected a post in a bespoke fashion to ensure good CCTV coverage even at height. The CCTV system’s exhaustive coverage and smart notifications help to ensure that nothing will elude the notice of the apartment block’s security staff using the CCTV system.
